Final Project:
1- Choose a historical garment/Illustration.
2- Make 20 modern croquis based off the inspiration.
3- Copy the original inspiration (Making it a 9 head figure) and make 3 complete figures of the best 3 croquis.

The Inspiration I choose was an 18th Century style harlequin, made in the 19th Century for the Ballets Russes by Leon Bakst. (Pictured above with my rendering)

I'm really pleased with how they turned out. Having a good set of colored pencils (Especially the metallic bronze) really saved my life. The pencil really made the details "pop" against the subtle shading of the markers.

For the Second project in my creative draping class we had to make a Georgette motif Dress. The process was to design the motif and place it on the manniquin. The rest of the fabric was then draped going around the motif in a circle. The end result was the very bizzare looking pattern piece above.

This is the first project: http://izodiea.livejournal.com/17237.html
