Birthday Shoes

I was gifted these lovely shoes by my mother for my last birthday.They are the unofficial reproduction of Violets boots from Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. If I remember correctly they are the "bordello" Style by Pleaser?

The Shoes are pretty comfortable, but made for someone with extremely large calves! I had to move some of the buttons (Functioning button holes!) I also HATED the dumb little bow stuck on the front of the shoe ( So I did this: )

Why there hasn't been much sewing...

I am in a required Fashion Illustration class again. I hate fashion Illustration!!! I am an exceptionally slow drawer...and my drawing homework easily eats two days a week out of my life = no sewing time.
On the upside, I think I am finally getting good at this; and I am fully in love with markers. They are SOOO much quicker and easier to use than Gauche (The watercolor medium my old school required for renderings)

My homework assignment for next week is four figures showing Organza, Chiffon, Mesh, Lace and Embroidery or Applique. I foresee alot of coffee in my future...6 weeks left in this class...
