Why there hasn't been much sewing...

I am in a required Fashion Illustration class again. I hate fashion Illustration!!! I am an exceptionally slow drawer...and my drawing homework easily eats two days a week out of my life = no sewing time.
On the upside, I think I am finally getting good at this; and I am fully in love with markers. They are SOOO much quicker and easier to use than Gauche (The watercolor medium my old school required for renderings)
My homework assignment for next week is four figures showing Organza, Chiffon, Mesh, Lace and Embroidery or Applique. I foresee alot of coffee in my future...6 weeks left in this class...

Week 2- "finished" figures showing value with there reference. I say "finished" because the drawings themselves are not done (No details like faces etc.) but for the assignment they are done.

Week 3- Under drawings- Fabric details- denim, Sweater knit, and Cordoroy.

Week 3- Finished figures showing fabric details- Denim, Sweater knits and Cordoroy.
I'm particularly happy with the Corduroy. Firstly because of it's WOW (Epic red color) but also because I can really see my improvement...IE a face that actually looks human :)
