Le Bal des Vampires
Nov. 7th, 2010 11:01 amLast night I went to the Annual Le Bal des Vampires held by PEERS at the Elks Lodge of Alameda. The costumes were beautiful, the dancing fun, the music nice. The grand dance hall is really epic with its stained glass dome (Sadly I forgot to take a picture) I also had my Tarot read, which was interesting. The most fun I had was while chatting/ wandering around with friends. I wasn't really in the mood for dancing until the end- I blame the guy on the bus who played bongos non-stop for 45 minutes.

For my costume I wore my Swiss Dot gown, but tried to do a "crazy vampire bride" version of a 18th C. hedgehog. My hair was not being very cooperative (more rain) But it a way that added to the "crazy". I mixed in some white clip-in extensions.
